Corporate Speaking

Michele Chevalley Hedge 9

You’re not imagining it: your people are tired.

Engagement is dipping, sick days are creeping up, stress is rising, and daily performance isn’t as sharp as it used to be. Teams are stretched thin, leaders are running on fumes, and wellbeing has become another item on everyone’s “should do” list. Most HR leaders tell us the same thing — they’re trying to support their people, but nothing seems to stick. That’s because most wellbeing advice is too extreme, too confusing or simply not practical for busy humans.

In 2025, the most valuable currency in business isn’t just capital - it’s cognitive clarity, sustained energy, and a resilient body. In other words, wellbeing has become a business asset. So, how do we cultivate it in an increasingly uncertain world? The evidence is clear: how we fuel ourselves impacts immune strength, motivation, mental resilience, and ultimately our ability to perform under stress. In an era of rapid technological change, increased workloads, and mounting burnout, optimising health isn’t a “nice to have.” It’s a direct driver of productivity, profitability, and long-term performance. This presentation delivers actionable strategies to help leaders and teams transform wellbeing into competitive advantage:

This presentation provides key learnings & takeaways on:

  • Add to your plate, don’t take away. Discover the evidence-based nutrition upgrades that elevate deep sleep, mood, cognition, and focus—without deprivation. Nourishment, not punishment
  • Link lifestyle to leadership. Understand the connection between daily habits (food, sleep, exercise, stress regulation) and executive performance, decision-making, and influence.
  • Master the 3 S’s. Sugar, Sleep, Stress—how they erode productivity and how to build a proactive prevention toolkit to stay sharp, communicate with clarity, and feel self-confident under pressure.
  • Leverage the science. Explore the latest research on how nutrition, sleep architecture, and stress responses impact brain function, creativity, resilience, and ultimately your success at work.
  • Rewire your “new normal.” Learn how to navigate workplace temptations—3pm sugar binge, junk food, erratic eating, tired but wired sleeps—and replace them with energy-optimising habits that fuel sustained performance.
  • Design your high-performance day. Practical hacks to build consistency, create clarity, and embed habits that boost both wellbeing and bottom-line results.

Have you ever met anyone who says my sleep and stress levels are at an all-time 10 out of 10? I do not think I know anyone who has ever said this – before covid, during covid, and now settling with covid. In fact, we have seen a significant upsurge in burnout. This presentation has been crafted with evidence-based research, humour and I invite you to sit back take a big expansive breath and get inspired about your wellbeing and then understand sometimes the world between brain fog and a positive mindset is sleep and stress management.
